Like good tourists, we woke up bright and early and headed
out to the museums. We started with the Riverside Transport Museum on the Clyde
just a short walk away. We powered through that museum, then walked over to
Kelvingrove Park and walked along the river. It is so beautiful! I know, I
know, I’ve seen it before and walk through it almost every day. But it still
gets me every time! Anyway, we wandered through the park and took in the crazy
amounts of GREEN around us, then tried the University but it was locked. :( So,
we headed to another museum! The Kelvingrove Art Museum is beautiful….but too
much for us to get through in one day. We got through half of it and decided we
were starving so we headed home to make lunch. When we hit the couch, there was
no getting up – we’d walked miles and powered through those museums in just a
few hours and we were exhausted. So we plopped on the couch and watched
Bridesmaids and napped until it was time for dinner! Now don’t get me wrong, it
wasn’t just a rushed tourist attraction day. We had a blast. We are complete
dorks and thrive off of that in all situations. Enjoy the pictures! :) Anyway,
we decided to go to City Centre that night and check out the rumored-to-be-amazing
nightlife there. Fiona’s fiance’s brother (it’s okay if you didn’t follow) was
visiting so he joined us as well. We wandered around as a three-person possy
for a bit, then ended up at a club and danced the night away!
Sometimes we have fun together...
