Today was a
simple day – at lunch, Kristin came to the university and we ate lunch
overlooking the city. It was a such a beautiful day! She brought along her
friend Matt, who she met in London I believe. Or Paris. Either way, he’s from
Australia and is backpacking around Europe for about 6 months. It was nice
having visitors at lunch! When I got home from research, I had to say bye to Kristin. :( I was lucky to have her for the weekend though!
It's alright, call me pathetic. See if I care. In the evening, I went out to the river to watch the sun set and visit my 3 little swans. There's always one guy hanging out on my side of the river, and two others come to meet him just after the sun disappears. Well, today the little guy was all alone! :( I was waiting for the other two little ones, but they didn't come. This is where you can call me pathetic, if you so desire, but I was SO SAD! I've witnessed this swan reunion so often, I felt so bad for the lonely little swan! But then, all of the sudden, the two swans came swimming across the river! I don't know why I was so happy...but I was. Haha. Anyway, there's my little swan saga! (Maybe my pictures will tell a better story!)
