...I just slept through the night for the first time here!!!! A whopping 7 hours. Asleep the whole time. !!!!!
It's probably worth mentioning now that the first night here, I was able to sleep for an hour and a half. The second night, 3 hours. It was terrible - insomnia because of jet-lag, then when I had to get out of bed to go to the university around 8, my body FINALLY felt tired because it thought it was midnight. NOW you understand why this is such a big deal! Yay! And boo jet-lag.
Had another day of research today and did mostly reading to get familiarized again. My walk to and from the university was HOT because it was such a gorgeous day. At times, I forgot I was in Scotland because the weather was so nice!! I just got a little taste of San Diego. :) And speaking of San Diego, I made tacos for dinner! The taco seasoning I bought was too spicy so I made my own...still too spicy. Maybe one day I'll learn......
A couple more Scottish things:

A couple more Scottish things:
- Aye means yes.
- "Tah" means thank you.
- The bathroom is the loo.
- The bathroom is also the toilet (more common).
Possibly more intriguing, here are a couple more pictures I snapped today (on my phone!).
Yep, still there! Just had to make sure I wasn't imagining it!
